Shared welfare awareness
Limited, respectful visibility of related recent activity across participating organizations.
Role-based access

Organization privacy
Each organization’s private notes, documents, and decisions stay its own.
The problem
Sensitive cases deserve more than spreadsheets
Welfare teams often carry deeply personal information across disconnected forms, spreadsheets, inboxes, and private messages. Details get lost between people, history is hard to reconstruct, and it is never quite clear who is responsible for what.
The people behind these cases are neighbors seeking help — not tickets or leads. They deserve a process that is calm, careful, and accountable. Masjid Welfare brings the whole workflow into one considered place.
Today, scattered across

Intake, review, coordination, and follow-up — connected and accountable.
The welfare network
Shared awareness. Protected dignity.
The shared welfare network for Islamic organizations
Many welfare teams serve overlapping communities, yet work through isolated forms, spreadsheets, inboxes, and private conversations. Without any shared context, the same request can be reviewed several times over — and limited funds are harder to steward fairly.
Masjid Welfare is being built to give an authorized committee limited awareness that a related request was recently seen elsewhere in the participating network — while each organization’s private notes, documents, discussions, and decisions remain its own.
What a reviewing organization may see
Limited and contextual — a signal, never the full record.
Related recent assistance activity found
A participating organization recorded a related request recently. Review the coordination details before deciding.
- That another participating organization received a related request
- The approximate date or recency
- A broad assistance category
- A high-level case state, where appropriate
- A controlled way to coordinate next steps
What stays private to each organization
By default — kept within the organization that created it.
- Internal committee notes
- Uploaded financial or personal documents
- The exact assistance amount
- Private discussions and reviewer opinions
- Detailed household information
- Unrelated historical records
- Arbitrary applicant search results
Designed to provide limited shared awareness while protecting each organization’s private case records. The network model is being built around controlled matching rather than open applicant browsing — there is no directory to freely search.
Today the platform provides the secure, organization-separated foundation this network is built on. Controlled matching is on our roadmap and will require privacy review before any production rollout.
The platform
One organized workflow for the complete welfare process
Every capability is grounded in how welfare committees actually work — from the first request to a resolved, well-documented outcome.
Case management
Move each case through a clear workflow, from first review to a resolved outcome, so nothing quietly stalls.
A clear, shared status for every case means the committee always knows what needs attention next.

Committee collaboration
Internal notes keep the committee aligned on a case — visible to staff, never to the applicant.
A running timeline records who changed what and when, for accountability the team can rely on.
Structured application intake
Requests arrive in a consistent structure — applicant details, household, and the assistance needed — instead of scattered replies and attachments.
Assignments and ownership
Assign a case to a committee member so responsibility is always clear.
Notifications and follow-up
Keep applicants and staff informed as a case progresses, so people are not left wondering.
Oversight and reporting
See the whole caseload at a glance — counts by status, and quick filtering to find any case.
How it works
A calmer path from request to resolution
- 01
Receive
A request enters the organization’s private workspace in a consistent structure.
- 02
Review
Authorized committee members securely assess the case with the context they need.
- 03
Coordinate
Relevant network awareness can help participating organizations avoid working in isolation.
- 04
Serve
The team responds with clarity, accountability, and compassion — and keeps a reliable history.
Applications are reviewed by people, not algorithms — Masjid Welfare organizes the work so your committee can give each case the care it deserves.

For organizations
Built for both sides of the process
For welfare committees
- Centralized cases in one place
- Clear assignments and ownership
- Better context across participating organizations
- Reduced unintentional duplication
- Controlled coordination when appropriate
- Responsible stewardship of limited funds
What applicants experience
- A dignified, consistent process
- Privacy protected at every step
- Clearer communication
- Less repeated paperwork where future workflows allow
- Coordinated support rather than suspicion
Applicants experience this through your committee's care and communication today. A dedicated applicant portal is part of our roadmap, not a current claim.
Security & privacy
Privacy and separation, by design
Welfare records are among the most sensitive information a masjid holds. Masjid Welfare is being built so access is deliberate, history is preserved, and each organization's work stays its own — and any awareness shared across the network stays limited and controlled, never an open applicant directory.
We don't make compliance or certification claims we haven't earned. Instead, we focus on least-privilege access, clear boundaries, and a complete activity trail.
Role-based access
Roles decide who can open, edit, or act on a case — least-privilege by default.
Organization-level boundaries
Each organization operates within its own workspace, kept apart from others.
No open applicant directory
The network is designed to share limited signals — not a searchable database of applicants.
Limited cross-organization signals
Awareness is contextual and controlled; private records stay with the organization that created them.
Accountability through history
A recorded activity trail supports responsible handling of sensitive cases.
Controlled by design
Organization separation and controlled matching are being built in from the ground up.
Where this comes from
Built alongside the welfare team at Masjid Darus Salaam
Masjid Welfare grew out of real operational welfare needs — disconnected forms and spreadsheets, sensitive records that deserved better care, the work of keeping a committee coordinated, and the limited visibility neighboring organizations have into one another’s recent assistance. It is being built to serve welfare departments at many organizations, with that same care.
Bring clarity, dignity, and coordination to your welfare program
Organize cases, protect sensitive information, and help your committee serve the community responsibly — without working in isolation.
